If you've already bought a deck or two and have been trying to learn on your own, but would now like to join a few others and a teacher, this may be the class for you.  Classes will include card meanings, developing spreads that work for you, and learning to better use your Intuition.

for the invitation to act as guest speaker at last evening's Sunday Service.  There was a huge turnout and it was heartening to see so many familiar faces as well as so many new ones.

THANKS also to Rev. Dorothy Cox-Rothwell

for agreeing to team up, offering the guided meditation and to read from her book in which she wrote about her channelings with Mother Mary.

We were also blessed with the musical delights of Bobcaygeon musician Steve Clarke who played his guitar and guided us through some wonderfully up-lifting songs.

The free gift table went over well, many in the congregation were able to take home their selections of  books, tarot & oracle decks, stone healing eggs, smudge & feathers, jewelry, and more.  Many stayed to visit afterward, and it was so good to catch up with those well familiar and to get to know those newly introduced.  Gratitude is felt for this beautiful community, and blessings offered.

As we move into the holiday season and throughout the coming year, may we all remember that we are all connected.  Offering a small bit of ourselves to others and back to the Divine creates a world in which we can be proud of having co-created, and brings us fulfillment.

VIDEO: What Are The Differences Between Readings?

I receive a lot of calls from clients who are unsure of what, exactly, are the differences between the variety of Psychic Readings that I offer through my work.  How does a Life Path Reading differ from Fortune Telling / Fate / Destiny Readings, for example?  What is a Chakra Reading, and so on?  I thought I'd do a little video to take you through what I offer with my menu in an effort to help provide some answers to those who have not been to see me.  It can also be of assistance to those who are looking to develop their own abilities and are wanting to understand that their "Reading Styles" are allowed to be different from those that they had been taught in a class.  We are all different and the types of Readings that we are able to do vary from person to person.

The Differences We Share

I love doing this work.  It's some of the best work in the whole world.  I get to wake up every day and know that I will be meeting someone new, helping to make their lives easier.  As each person is different from the other, so, too, are their Readings, Reiki Sessions, Meditation Sessions and such.  No matter how many differences there are from person to person, however, there are things that everyone has in common, and I love seeing that in my work.

Often, when I receive calls from potential clients who are searching around for a Reader or Reiki practitioner that will suit them, I notice that there can be some pre-conceived ideas that they are believing about Psychics and Reiki Practitioners.  Some of these ideas are correct, and some are based on what has been shown in movies, on television, and what was heard on the playground back in the days when we were still kids.  "Psychic means" __(fill in the blank)__, or "Reiki means" ____________, or "Meditation means" ____________.  Even among Psychics / Sensitives / Intuitives there is a wide range of ideas about what these terms mean and what sessions should look like.  Coming up with an understanding of these things is not at all like math where we all agree that 1 + 1 = 2 and we know what the math terms mean.  In the realm of Intuition and Spirituality, our species is still in a place where we are basing our understandings on personal experience --- what we've heard from others and are repeating;  how we view our dreams and what they mean;  whether or not we have paid attention to our experiences and / or whether we are "chalking them up" to notions.  There are all kinds of ways that we, understandably, come to our ideas.  Clients, too, have some vast differences from each other that they are dealing with, want assistance with, and deserve to receive assistance for.  When fielding questions from potential clients or making efforts to book them in for the types of sessions that they are interested in, I have learned that it is important to be clear, at the time of booking, about what exactly they are looking for.

I've been doing this work for a long time, now... decades!  Through the years, my experience has grown, my practices in my work efforts have adapted, and what I offer to clients has changed.  I have learned that it is best to offer a menu for each type of Reading and service which include names of Reading-types, their descriptions, their lengths of time per session, and their fees.  This helps seekers to do a bit of research and to figure out just exactly what it is that they are looking for.  People are taking time out of their days and spending their hard-earned money for these services, and they deserve to receive what they are seeking.  I equate it to going out to eat at a restaurant.  If we want pizza, but walk into a seafood restaurant, we are not as likely to get what we want.  Both offer "food", but very different types of food.  It is best for us to seek out the type of restaurant that best fits our needs and wants, therefore giving ourselves the best chance at enjoying our meal.  This is what I want for those who come to me for what I can offer --- for them to feel satisfied and happy with what has been provided to them.

This brings me back to my point with this post.  We are all different in so many ways.  We are also, however, the same in many, too.  We all want and deserve to be taken care of.  We all want and deserve to receive what it is that we are seeking.  We all want and deserve:  to be treated with respect; to be loved; to feel empowered; and to move forward in our lives feeling stable and happy.  No matter how different each person is from the other, whom I see within my practice, I also SEE that they are all the same in their souls.  They are Beings of Light and I feel that I love my job best when I can help those lights glow.  💛💛💛 I send out wishes to each of you for glowing hearts and needs met, with Light & Love.

AstroNumero Certificates

One of my favourite "Mini Readings" to offer is to make up AstroNumero certificates for people.  This is the kind of thing that I looked for back in the days of my own youth, when I was just getting into this line of interest.  Horoscopes were always available in the newspaper (yes, back in the days of print), of course, but I wanted more.  I'd search for ways to learn more about my Sun Sign (Taurus), and then I'd also heard about Numerology and wanted to know what the numbers from my birth date and name (alphanumerically) meant for me.  

Decades later and with much more diverse spiritual interests and experiences, I still recognize that these options are a nice way to get started or to treat yourself... to dip the toe into the water, so to speak.  People still love to read their menus at the Chinese food restaurant, checking to see if their Chinese Astrological sign really does describe them, or to read their horoscope on line, or to buy fridge magnets with a few lines about their Sun Signs.  It's fun and interesting.

An AstroNumero Certificate (whether printed or digital) can be a nice treat for someone to have, whether for themselves or to get as a gift for someone else.  It says "Here is something deeper about you, and you are interesting".  They're fun.  They're cool.  They're a keepsake.  Not too long ago, I gifted one (printed to go into a frame) to my best friend for her newborn great-grandson, using the name and date of birth that she had shared in her announcement.  She loved it!  I was pleased.  For myself, I still keep the one I created with my own details back in the day --- it stays with my books next to my bed, and I refer to it any time I need a reminder of who I am.  I love it.

Making The Most of The Season,

In Canada, we covet our warm weather months.  As soon as Spring rolls in and the sun is shining, the typical Canadian schedule fills up quickly... we become busy... no more hibernating!  With this onset, each of us may feel different needs.  For some, taking full advantage is a must... taking care of the yard and gardens, making plans for outdoor activities, attending festivals... life is abundant and rich and they soak it up while they can.  For others, some quiet time for Self is craved... bird-watching, breakfast on the patio before the start of the day, peace among the greenery and flowers... these moments of tranquility bring balance and buoy the body and spirit for endurance.  What do you find is your need at this time of year?

For myself, I enjoy the best of both worlds.  My work and social schedules pick up drastically in May and it is all I can do to keep up. For June, July, and August, I enjoy my city's bounteous menu of cultural events, outdoor restaurant patios, and more.  I know, however, that September will arrive soon enough (another time of year with a swirl of activity and scheduling), and since I know I need to take care of myself (and I truly enjoy serenity), I seek out ways to also bring in some quietude each day for some harmony.  If I can make it out to my balcony early enough in the day, I love, love, love eating a leisurely breakfast while the world is still quiet and I can take my time soaking up the verdancy that my view affords.  I make sure that I take breaks throughout the day to protect my sanity and abilities... meditation and breathing exercises carry me a long way and can be ever so blissful.  Evening arrives, and I am back outside to sit with my tea and listen to the birds chatter away as they share the stories of their days with each other.  This is the warm weather life that I love.  I know that my choices determine what my days look like, and so I try to make those choices count.

One of the best things about my work is that I get to be of service to others... providing safe space to give the Self permission to walk the best possible path, safe space for gentleness, safe space for choosing appropriate motivations, or even opportunities to have some fun.  Bliss and goodness are the order of the day, and I relish the opportunities that arise as clients let me know what their needs are.  Nothing makes me happier than seeing happiness in others.  Whether they require some down-time to achieve peace-of-mind with Reiki or Meditation Instruction, or they are searching for something interesting to do with friends, they come to me with their wishes, and I get to grant them.  BEST WORK EVER!  To that end, I offer a menu with a wide variety of options for clients to select from.  Of course, year-round, Psychic Readings are popular, and these can be of use for anyone wishing to get the most out of their choices.  During the summer, however, I tend to also get requests for Readings at parties that people are throwing for their family and friends.  Magical Workshops are also popular during the summer months, particularly when women are hosting the ladies for get-togethers... they're great fun!  Understandably, also, are the requests for "Me Time"... Reiki Relaxation, the "Day Of Bliss" package, and Meditation Instruction... ways to bring in some gentleness, softening hectic schedules and frayed nerves.  Whatever the request, it's my pleasure meeting those needs, and seeing smiles on faces.

'Get Your Art On'

Art Show & Sale

As a Sensitive, I tend to be quite creative... it runs in my family.  From a very early age, just as with my healing and intuitive abilities, I naturally craved and created opportunities to use paints and pencils and a camera that was gifted to me by my aunt.  As an adult, within my Light-Work, I generally require some type of a creative component before doing my Psychic Readings for clients, whether it be automatic writing, intuitive art, or simply using the pictures, colours, and shapes on Tarot or Oracle cards... it seems to stimulate whatever part of the brain does that work.  In my personal time when I'm not doing Readings or Reiki with clients, I enjoy working away in my art studio, blissfully expressing myself through magical images that form on canvases, paper, or any other surface I want to make beautiful.  I even have a little hobby business working with the kiddos in my community doing face painting, making them happy with my colours.  I find that allowing myself this freedom to create, in whatever way my Spirit nudges me toward, does something for me like nothing else can.  The rhythms of my mind and heart and day make a shift and I feel "in-flow" with the Divine and my purpose here on Earth.

This long weekend, I am participating in a local art show.  I've attended this annually-occurring event once before, but this year I have the opportunity to contribute 16 pieces of my own.  As I was sifting through the many stored in my studio, I was trying to decide which style I wanted to focus on.  I landed on the idea to show a sampling of a few different series I've worked on, as well as a few that stand on their own.  While some artists develop a sort of "style" and stick with it for their careers, I simply feel too boxed-in for that kind of discipline.  By sharing a small sampling of my various series and techniques, I think I'm happy in sharing a wider glimpse of myself with visitors to the show, some of whom will be friends and may be surprised by what they learn about me.  Here are just a few of what I am taking along to share, as well as the poster for the event.  If any of you are local to Peterborough, Ontario and are looking for something fun to do this long weekend, head on down to the 'Get Your Art On' Art Show & Sale.  To those of you who also love colour, texture, light & shadow... Moving Forward

As a Taurus, I naturally love it when May rolls around.  Not only does my birthday tend to last a number of weeks, with many well-wishes and get-togethers with family and friends, but in my area (Ontario, Canada) the grass, foliage, and flowers start to come in.  Colour!  At last!  The days are warmer, the birds are returned and singing their little hearts out.  All I want to do is have the windows open or sit outside and breathe in the scent of the earth and air.  Life feels good.

As a Light-Worker, I am a Sensitive and an Energy Reader.  I am greatly affected by my environment.  My Taurean proclivities and needs play into this as well.  My senses crave the stimulation of Springtime offerings.  No more winter coats... my skin sings with the gentle touch of the cool breeze.  No more snow covering the trees and ground... my every breath is filled with the buffet of scents now lifting and flowing in the air... from ground to sky.  Hearing the birdsong and the bustling of my fellow Canadians as they are now free to enjoy the great outdoors in our urban setting without the deep chill of the previous months... it all makes me smile.  In addition, I notice, my body starts to crave greens and nuts.  Nature has deprived me of these gifts locally for a great many months, now, and it is still too early for Her to offer them again.  So what to do?

Beltane is the mid-point between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice.  The "in-between".  Gone are the days of lack... and yet to come are the days of harvest.  For anyone who pays attention to the seasons and Mother Nature, we know instinctively what to do with this time of year.  GET PLANTING!!!  Whether it be a literal planting of seeds, bulbs, and tubers, or it be with putting plans in place to meet future goals, NOW is the time to ignite the spark and fan the flame.

I find that my world is constantly in flow with Universal Purpose.  I still have free will, yet abundant are the opportunities to work with the Great Divine, squeezing the juiciness out of life for all its worth and reaping the benefits.  Come May, this means getting ready for summer and getting ready for bigger things ahead.  As I type away, here, I can look around me and see the reflections of this very flow.  On my dining table there are stacks of paintings and drawings and frames as I make efforts to get ready to participate in a local art show.  On the floor is my gear for my little hobby business of face painting with the kiddos in my community --- summer is the big time for this and all must be ready to go to make our Little Ones happy.  Beside me is my 'to-do' list... and it's loonngg... marketing, web-managing, connecting with clients, updating my data, and more, more, more.   My bean and morning glory seeds and my spider plant babies are awaiting for me to finish my work and finish my breakfast and get them into soil so that they may dream the dream of life.  Abundant are my opportunities, and I am a happy camper.  I can just feel the pulse of the Divine electric Yang, push, push, pushing for movement and growth, and promising rewards to come.

As May breaks us open to the bliss of Birth and Life, I send you wishes of Goodness and Joyfulness, for Abundance and Opportunity, and for flowing with your Purpose.
