Homework...
I chose the above quote because I have found it to be completely true. I am amazed at just how much I manage to accomplish, in a day, after meditating. So, for beginners, try taking just 5 minutes a day to try this meditation (those more experienced might choose to go longer). Sit ANYWHERE. Use your senses. The more you pay attention, using what Nature has provided you (sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch), the more your mind will focus and your body will respond in health. What do you hear, near and far? How do the textures of your clothes feel? What remaining tastes linger in your mouth? Can you detect the scents of your environment? Really LOOK at everything around you and see the colours, shapes, textures of EVERYTHING (especially your own body). No kidding... this really helps a lot of people. If you try it and don't notice yourself responding, THAT'S OKAY! Never fret, there are always more options for you to try. The point is to ALLOW ourselves to feel good and pay attention to who we really are. Happy practicing!
