Autumn.  This is it --- the time of year that brings to mind the cycle of death and life, abundance and scarcity.  Our growing season is done, our cupboards and cellars have been stalked, and soon to come are the long winter days and nights.

October 30th --- STAG NIGHT --- Rutting season is coming to an end and it is time to honour the stag's efforts.  Seeds have been planted for next Spring's re-birth.  Job done.  Thank you so much for what you have offered the world.  May you be blessed.

October 31st --- Samhain --- Mid Autumn.  The Life / Death cycle is most evident and we crave closeness and coziness.  Time to honour both sides of the veil... the generations of our ancestors who have gone before us yet still remain by our sides, as well as the generations below, the young ones and those yet to come.  May they be blessed, and may we appreciate the blessings that they bestow upon us.

Heather Home of Light-Worker Psychic Readings & Energy Healing is requesting the assistance of volunteers for an on-going professional study. Sessions will be booked during the months of October and November.

Volunteers will be willing to commit up to 90 minutes toward a developmental session while an older style of Psychic Reading (Intuitive Art) is revisited with a newer technique. Volunteers must be willing to be "Read" which may include clairvoyance and reading of their energy field through use of hands.

Volunteers may or may not walk away at the end of the session with information received psychically and / or a painting or drawing depicting the energies read during the session. An Intuitive Art Reading may or may not include information regarding past lives, current life path moments, chakra / aura resonances, spirit animals, loved-ones crossed-over, or other. Artwork may possibly be scanned and filed before volunteers leave. Names of all volunteers are kept confidential.

During this MOON PHASE --- known in some nature-based faiths as THE BLOOD MOON, or ANCESTRAL MOON (not to be confused with a blood moon which is rusty in colour) --- we take time to appreciate what God / Goddess / The Universe / Mother Nature provides us in bounty and in family connections.

We are getting ready for the cold months and it is now that we need to come together for prosperity and survival.  Perhaps we share what we have with those we love.  Perhaps we require guidance from our Loved-Ones-Crossed-Over who still look out for us from the Other Side.  Perhaps we wish to honour those who will follow us and so make ready a legacy for when we finish our days upon the earth.  Whatever is our need at this time, we naturally notice that abundance is coming to an end and it is with our kin (or with those we claim as family) that we will persevere.

As the days grow colder and our homes become dryer with man-made heat or with a fire burning in the wood stove, something seems to shift with the energies around us.  The veil between worlds seems to thin somewhat, and our ancestors in spirit get another chance to let us know that they are still with us, along with all of the spirits of the trees, flowers, animals and beings who have since passed into another dimension.  They speak to us.  They share with us.  We all celebrate our connection together.
