Mary Harris.

Mary was a soul of beauty and light, of grace and dignity.

She was and will forever be well-loved by as many people as there are stars in the sky.  She was so many things to so many others... she left us each in a better place in the world.

It is due to Mary that I am the person I have become, in great part.  It was Mary who first brought Reiki and its many benefits into my consciousness, which, in turn, lead me to seek out classes and development, and then, to offer Reiki as a professional.  It was she whom I would go to for receiving Mothering on the Reiki table, in her livingroom and in her garden.  It is she who got me involved with many of the local art groups here in Peterborough and with the work I so often do with these groups.  It is she who taught me about Self-Permission and Universal Grace... that wonderful "I'm okay, You're okay" view on Life.  Rippling out through space and time, I honour her by doing my best to continue sharing that philosophy and healing energy to those I encounter, whether client or friend, family member or unseen spirit. Her very Being will continue to affect those of us who where lucky enough to know her, as well as those who didn't get the chance.  I'm not sure I could ever consider myself more fortunate than I can from having had her in my life.

To Mary's Angelic Soul, I say...

Peterborough's "Ghost Road"!

Psychic Experiment Circle

is planning a fun field trip and we invite anyone and everyone to come meet up with us and find out what all the fuss is about on what has been named the "Ghost Road" for our area.  Many have been hearing about it but haven't yet gone.  We're going!  You're welcome to come too!

Our expedition will take place during the evening while there is still daylight, so this will not likely be an overly spooky experience.  There have been many reports, here, of other types of paranormal activity beyond ghosts, such a Faerie-lights & Elementals / Nature Spirits, energy portals, energy imprints, etc.  Lots of opportunities for you to see what you intuitively "pick up".  You are also welcome to bring along your camera, video or audio equipment... you never know what you might luck out and catch!  Also, it really is just a nice beautiful walk along a country road, for those nature-lovers... views include forest, field, marsh and river!

Carpooling will be offered for those who need it (pending spaces available).  We will first be meeting at 7 pm at 205 Sherbrooke St. in Peterborough, rear building, unit #4 (Heather Home's name is on the buzzer) and we will be leaving soon after.  The drive is about 10 minutes or so and we will be heading to Bartlett Road out near the Cassino.  For those wishing to just head direclty there on their own, you are looking for Highway 28 to Moncrief Line or Whitfield Rd. near the Cassino.  Bartlett runs between Moncrief and Whitfield, parallel to Hwy 28. We will likely park at the corner of Bartlet and Moncrief, but if you don't see us there, try the corner of  Bartlett & Whitfield.  

Please ensure that you bring super-comfortable footwear as the road is approximately 2 hours of walking ( one hour each way ) though you are not expected to go the whole way before turning back.  Also consider:  a jacket for weather, water bottle, bug spray, bear spray, walking stick or anything else you might take on a long walk in the evening.  Be advised that there are no rest-rooms available on this road.

The planet Venus is trecking her way across the face of the sun and, thanks to Peterborough's Astronomical Society, there will be some very kind people offering use of their telescopes, with special filters, for public viewing of this wondrous celestial event.

Starts around dinner time and goes 'till dusk.  Heather and friends will be aiming to visit around 6:15 pm and will hang around for a little while.  Come on out and learn something new and interesting.  This event will not be occurring again in your lifetime!

For Heather and other fellow Taureans (those born between April 19 and May 21) this can potentially be a meaningful time as Venus is the ruling planet for that sign.  Check your horoscopes!  Enjoy!

 Generally, Heather Home is more of a "tea-with-the-ladies" type of person, but quite enjoyed the opportunity to try something new by offering readings and demonstrations at the rock concert featuring Colt Harley.  The staff at The Venue were all VERY accommodating and run a spectacular establishment.

 While the vendors & psychics were located up on the balcony, the concert played on, below.  Also available at the "Light Worker" booth were Crystal Sun-catchers, Magic Spell Ingredients Bundles, and lots of free information about Peterborough's Psychic / Spirit/ Metaphysical community.
