ARTIST'S STATEMENT: "The Autumn Years" is an expression regarding the phase of life when we begin to slow down a little. In contrast to the summer years of pushing ourselves to exhaustion with industrious activity, we now are freer to take our time enjoying the sparkling colour of life and, ultimately, regaining our vibrancy... just like autumn. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Heather Home has been dreaming up magical images for decades, creating intuitive art and whimsical expressions of life well lived. Working with a variety of media, from acrylic to charcoal to found items, frees her to artistic declarations unlimited... freedom being a concept of profound importance to her life and work. She still can't get enough of the beauty she spies on a gorgeous autumn day.
