Also, Heather Home wishes to thank our guests from our last show, KAGS members Margaret Tough and Sue Sydney who joined us to discuss the topics around supporting our young people and also fundraising to provide prize money for the "Best Of High School Art Show".  The Kawartha Artists' Gallery and Studio sold 57 tickets and raised $1710 for the high school senior art students who intend to continue with their calling after they graduate.  The money will assist them to purchase their supplies, among providing other benefits.  The "Best Of High School Art Show" will take place at KAGS, 420 O'Connell Rd. in Peterborough (corner of Park St. S.) from May 3 - 21.  Opening Reception May 3rd.  Closing Reception & Awards May 21st.  For more info you can go to http://www.kawarthaartists.org/
